We’re going back to where it all started.

Our next Chelsea Chess Club night is returning to The Belle Vue on Clapham Common, where we first started bringing people together over the chessboard. After hosting club nights in different parts of London, we’re really looking forward to being back.

Whether you’re a regular, joining us for the first time, or completely new to chess, everyone is welcome. Come along, grab a board, and settle in for an evening of chess, conversation and good company.

You don’t need to come with a friend. People often arrive on their own and quickly find someone to play. With a mix of ages, abilities and coaches around during the evening, there’s always someone to sit across the board from.

And if you’ve never played before, don’t worry. Our club is genuinely beginner-friendly, so you can learn as you go and enjoy the game without needing to know everything beforehand.
