I started playing chess aged 5. I went on to represent England from the age of 10-18 at World and European chess Championships. I was 3x British Champion for my age, during this time.

At university I turned my focus towards the psychological aspects of the game, particularly the lack of women in chess.

​

I have 10 years of experience teaching students ranging from age 5-55 yrs, from beginners to advanced players. I also have experience teaching large groups of children with Sussex Junior Chess & Somerset County Chess.​​
